Dear Lopez Family,

Welcome to the new school year at Dr. Manuel M. Lopez Academy of Arts and Sciences! We’re thrilled to have you back after a remarkably successful year, where our students achieved impressive milestones and engaged deeply in their studies. This year promises even more exciting opportunities as we continue to build on our strong foundation.

We are especially excited to introduce our Dual Language Program for 6th graders, designed to enhance bilingualism and cultural awareness from an early age. Additionally, our extensive selection of over 30 electives in arts and music ensures that every student can explore their passions and talents in these creative fields.

 

Lopez Academy proudly supports 18 vibrant school clubs that align with our commitment to arts and sciences. These clubs provide a platform for students to delve into their interests and collaborate with peers who share their enthusiasm. We encourage students to participate and make the most of these enriching opportunities.

We also invite parents to play an active role in our community through the Parent Teacher Association, English Learner Advisory Committee, and School Site Council. Your involvement is crucial in shaping the ultimate success of our school and enhancing the educational experience for all students.

Remember, school starts at 8:40 AM this Thursday, August 14th. We look forward to a fantastic year ahead and can’t wait to see the incredible things our students will accomplish!
